INTRODUCTION:

Grinding Techniques Pty Ltd is looking for a Process Engineer to support, develop, manage, and analyse production processes in accordance with internal/external best practices and standards. Coordinate ISO compliance through strict QC gates.

INTERESTED APPLICANTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO DO THE FOLLOWING:

• Maintaining Process flow charts, processes and procedure through ISO approve method.
• Improving Processes and Procedures.
• Managing ISO compliance through QC team support.
• Managing overall product quality through process improvement, RCA’s and FMEA’s to improve corrective actions.
• Process KPI monitoring and reporting.
• Support maintenance, production, and QC w.r.t process optimisation and improvement.
• Product development and testing [including production application engineering].
• Lead a team of QC and production support individuals to achieve highest possible repeatable product quality.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum: Engineering qualification diploma [N.Dip] in Metallurgical Engineering (preferred) equivalent or.
• Mechanical Engineering (with relevant post-graduate experience).
• At least 5 years post-graduate experience in foundry, abrasive, phenolics or industrial grinding.
• Compounding and formulations for Phenolics, Ceramics and the like.

SOFT SKILLS REQUIREMENT (MINIMUM)

• High attention to detail
• High excel proficiency [data analytics].
• ISO compliance processes & procedures
• Root-cause analysis and corrective action analysis.
• High problem-solving ability.
• Extremely high technical aptitude.
• Familiar with ERP systems
